CO2 Offset

ARA is committed to both playing its part in minimising and offsetting the effects of wind tunnel testing and to seeking additional ways to support reforestation. 

Currently, ARA is paying our power supplier to offset CO2 emissions generated from our wind tunnel operations. From March 2023 ARA has elected to work with the largest specialist tree planting company Tree Nation https://tree-nation.com  who will plant a large number of trees sufficient to absorb all the CO2 produced from the test over the lifetime of those trees.

ARA will continue to fund this for every test performed, but additionally, we will be inviting clients to pay an equivalent matching voluntary contribution in order to double the number of trees being planted.
