MOU between ARA and RUAG
The Aircraft Research Association and RUAG Aerospace are delighted to announce today that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work together for their joint and mutual benefit in the world wide aerodynamics market place.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Dougie Hunter, Chief Executive of ARA, and Dr Michel Guillaume, RUAG Aerospace’s General Manager for Aerodynamics.
Based in Bedford, England, ARA provides a capability as a leading specialist in high-speed aerospace wind tunnel testing, model manufacture and CFD development and application. Based in Emmen, Switzerland, RUAG Aerospace is a leading specialist in low-speed aerodynamics, offering services and equipment in associated wind tunnel and CFD technologies to the aerospace and automotive industries.
The MOU therefore represents an important basis for each organisation to offer a broader portfolio to their respective customer base, as well as creating opportunities for collaborative research and development in the aerospace and automotive fields.
