Sports Traider

One of the organizations supported by ARA is the locally based youth focused charity, Sports Traider.  Irrespective of background or means, Sports Traider offers young people the opportunity to get into sport.

Sports Traider sells heavily discounted and used sports equipment making specialist clothing and equipment affordable to young people.  The money raised is channeled back into grass-root sport for children and young people.  Proceeds generated are used to fund coaching, access to facilities and transport.

The Sports Traider shops are also used to provide wider community benefits through training and up skilling of volunteers, creating jobs for young people who cannot find work or are long term unemployed and for disabled or disadvantaged people.

ARA provides support to Sports Traider by carrying out shop maintenance health and safety reviews, health and safety advice and safety equipment.  Our Engineering team and Compliance Manager have all provided their knowledge and skill to this worthy cause.
