QMS Framework

'Quality is the responsibility of all', is a principle upheld by ARA. Of course there is also a structure underpinning this ethos, in the form of meetings, audits and documentation:-
Company Quality Board Meetings - These are
biannual meetings attended by the Chief Executive, the Senior
Management Team and the Head of Quality Assurance. The
purpose of these meetings is to review the QMS on a regular basis,
and to discuss opportunities for QMS improvement, which will then
be fed back into the loop for continual improvement.
Departmental Quality Group Meetings - These
are attended by the Head of Department and representatives from the
various sections within the department. The purpose of these
meetings is to discuss any quality related problems, progress QMS
actions and discuss suggestions for improvement.
Internal Auditors' Review Meetings -
Internal Auditors meet to discuss how the audit programme is
progressing, comment upon any relevant feedback from audits and
review the auditing procedure and any relevant
documentation.
Internal Audits - ARA supports a full time
Quality Representative (Head of Quality Assurance), and a team of
voluntary part-time Internal Auditors. All Internal Auditors
receive professional Internal Audit training. In addition the
Audit Team are supported by a designated team of Technical
Advisers.
