Data Acquisition and Processing

Introduction

Data

Wind tunnel tests are conducted in order to produce large quantities of reliable data for use in aircraft development programs. The electronic signals from the model and tunnel instrumentation must be recorded and processed to obtain the required engineering information.

Proven Experience and Capability

ARA has an established and proven data acquisition system which feeds into a  comprehensive, validated data processing suite.

Corrected data is displayed on dedicated screens in real time for most types of test.

Final data is supplied to our customers within minutes of the end of each test sequence in a format specified by the customer.

All software is developed and maintained by a dedicated in-house team of highly experienced software engineers.

Customers can request software modifications and new applications before, during and even after a test.

We have considerable experience in making on-the-fly software changes at short notice for customers during a test should their test requirements change.
