Jonathon Shaw

Business Development

Jonathon joined ARA in 1983 having obtained a B.Sc Hons in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from U.C.N.W and an M.Sc. in Aerodynamics from Cranfield University.  He began work in the Computational Aerodynamics group, specialising in developing methods for simulating flows over complete aircraft and has published numerous papers on his work at conferences and in leading Journals.  Following a number of promotions leading to the post of deputy manager of the Computational Aerodynamics group, Jonathon moved into the Experimental Aerodynamics group to get a wider exposure to ARA's overall business. In 2006 he moved into the Business Development department from where he is responsible for developing new business opportunities for ARA.  Jonathon's interests include skiing and golfing.
