Andrew Peace - ARA Head of Computational Aerodynamics

Andrew Peace joined ARA in 1982, having obtained a BSc in Mathematics and a PhD studying the modelling of vortex flow phenomena. Between 1982 and 1999 he performed research in a number of aspects of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), but principally in flow modelling for aircraft configurations in the transonic regime, with emphasis on powerplant integration. In 2000 he was appointed Head of Computational Aerodynamics at ARA (formerly Research Department), where he leads the company’s business activities in both CFD software development and CFD applications.
